CHURCH SERVICES

We cordially invite you to our English church services on Sundays at 8.30 am. On the last Sunday of the month there is only a bilingual Church service at 10.00 am. Between the English and German services you have the opportunity to meet members of the congregation and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

BAPTISM

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Psalm 91, 11

Baptism is the festive incorporation of a person into the Christian community. Baptism can be held in a separate baptismal service or can be integrated into a church service. In this way, the admission of the person baptized into the congregation is expressed in a special way.

CONFIRMATION

“How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings!” Psalm 36,8

The Confirmation is a ceremonious church service in which young people confess their Christian faith. Girls and boys prepare for the Confirmation in confirmation classes. The confirmation period lasts about one year.

FUNERAL / MEMORIAL SERVICE

“Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalm 37,5

Death takes a loved one from the community of his family and friends. A memorial service is an opportunity to say farewell and give thanks for the life taken and to accompany the bereaved in their time of sorrow.

SPIRITUAL COUNSELING

Suffering, illness, doubt, grief and loneliness are burdens that often push people to their limits. You can contact us by telephone or seek a personal conversation. Many find support in faith, especially in difficult times. All discussions with the pastor are of course confidential.
